The Arts Academy, Federation University invites you to join us in a co-design workshop to collaborate and explore possible futures of visual art education in Gippsland. This invitation is prompted by Federation University’s recent decision to withdraw its visual art undergraduate degree. By consulting with the community and stakeholder Latrobe Regional Gallery, together we aim to create ideas and solutions that are relevant, sustainable, and reflective of the community’s needs and aspirations in visual arts education.
We welcome a diverse range of experience from people interested in visual arts education in all its forms, from school art programs and community workshops to post graduate study and beyond. We will step you through a guided process designed to connect and generate ideas to facilitate change that matters.
Please pass this on to anyone that you think might be interested. As this is a co-design and participatory workshop we will need to limit numbers to around 30 people, so please respond as soon as you can.
