Latrobe City caters to all education requirements, from primary schools to tertiary and training institutions. There are also established private schools and specialist schools. Federation University’s Gippsland campus is in Churchill and TAFE Gippsland has facilities in Morwell, Yallourn and Traralgon.  Other tertiary options include the Apprenticeships Group Australia, and a campus of Monash university.
